Sometimes, during parts of our journey, what I call personal growth and development, we feel alone.
No, let me change that.
Sometimes, during parts of my journey, my personal growth and development, I feel alone.
Not in terms of people. I have my family and my circle.
The lonesomeness regards The Universe, especially when, my practical, analytical mind whispers.
"Oh, you know you can't do that."
"Where is the money coming from."
"Nobody wants to listen to you."
"You know, people will not visit your websites or read your books."
"You aren't even smart enough to do this."
"Who do you think you are, anyway, Tony Robbins?"
"You're a terrible writer."
And, on.
I'm grateful. One of the first things I learned in Toastmasters, in times of self-doubt (like, when you're about to walk on stage to give your speech) remember your past successes.
They fuel you forward.
They let you know, if you've been successful once, in any area of your life, you can be successful again.
Now. With this "thing".
In the case of striving for something even bigger, some grand lofty vision of your future, remember, though your practical mind screams otherwise, The Universe amplifies your effort.
Learn to trust that law.
The Universe cannot break it's laws.
You cannot plant an orange seed and produce a beet.
In spite of being nervous and insecure about your dreams becoming reality. Keep moving forward anyway. Even if you are crawling towards your goal, keep moving in the direction of your goal.
The Universe in Action
A couple years ago, I conducted a test.
I set aside money, earmarked strictly for those that are homeless. I drove around with an envelope filled with one dollar bills. Any time I came across a person that was homeless, I gave them a dollar.
I wanted to see what would happen.
In less than three months, I received over $5,000 unexpectedly and landed a new job paying me more money with greater opportunities for growth.
The Universe has your back. Keep moving forward towards your personal goals.
