Teachers are Everywhere

Rigid doesn't work anymore. So many things in our world are fluid.
Like learning.
Schools are no longer the stalwarts they once were. Adults are no longer the only sages.
As I work on growing more aware in my daily routine, so much of who I am is challenged.
I feel upended most of the time.
I'm a teacher, but, I'm being taught. She's ten-years old. She sings. She dances. She's stubborn, kind, jovial and full of life. She loves being outside, spending time with her family and friends. Her days are filled with laughter.
She teaches me something daily. The lessons would be easier if I were less rigid and more fluid because the truth is, our teachers are everywhere.
