Sacrifice

The word sacrifice may feel a bit heavy, noble. Used when talking about someone else, not you.
The truth.
If you desire to live the most excellent version of yourself, sacrifice is a big part of the equation.
A simple example is time. It takes time for you to learn, practice what you've learned and grow from it. If you're running an online business, like I am, it takes time to create content (or document, Gary Vaynerchuk's take on the subject) to share with your audience. Less time with your family on those days.
Sacrifice, means instead of dropping a hundred bucks to take your Beloved to a dinner and a movie (after talking it over) you stay in, pop your own popcorn, make your own cocktails and stream a movie from Amazon Prime, and put the money to work for you elsewhere to help grow your skills or your business.
On this journey, something has to be traded to get where you want to be.
The trick is (if you're in a relationship), make those choices after talking openly with your loved ones. Prep them for what's coming. Let them be a part of the process where you can. Apologize when you've spent too much time away.
Get used to it. Once this thing is built, you'll have more choices, for now, sacrifice and do so in balance.
