Productivity

I'm looking forward to reading his newest book (as of this writing).

I got the book because, at the time, I needed help becoming more productive during my workday. I thought I'd get the end-all-be-all, here is how you do it, message.

Not so.

At first, I was a bit disappointed. I felt I needed to be told how to be more productive. But, instead, Kevin does a great job unpacking, one-size-fits-all is a myth.

There are boatloads of time management and productivity methods and tips (if you don't believe me, when you get to the part of the book where Kevin shares insights from 239 entrepreneurs) -- well hey, that drives the point home.

This list summarizes what I learned from his book:

  • Find what works for you.

  • When you find it (the method) use it.

  • It (your method/process) may be digital or analog.

  • Be flexible, things change over time (like starting solo, then having a team).

There are lots of take-aways and numerable resources from this digital work.

The single biggest lesson learned, start from the inside.
