I'm reading Jack Canfield's book, The Success Principles. There is an adage I heard long ago (paraphrasing) - the teacher appears when the student is ready. Some of the concepts I've read so far, I've heard before, but, they are more potent this time. I would like to think, as a student, I'm ready for my teacher.
Yesterday, while on an adventure with my Beloved and her little one, while waiting for our transportation, I read about the appreciation rampage. Jack addresses me (the reader) and challenges me to do a simple practice of the rampage.
I did.
And serenity befell me.
After the experience, I spoke to The Universe, saying "I want more of that".
When I started reading The Success Principles, I promised myself that I would practice the techniques. A big part includes, changing my perspective by changing the words I speak (verbally and in my head).
So subtle, yet powerful: looking at the same situation with a different, positive perspective.
Listen to Jack speak about it in his own words, from the angle of attitude.
Come back for more posts, I'm sure I'll write about the book again (Beloved and I already see ourselves at Jack's Breakthrough to Success 2017, August 2 - 6 in Scottsdale, AZ. - I haven't worked out the details, but The Universe knows our intentions - see you there!).
