Definitions for congruent/congruence

My take.

Being in agreement.

I agree on paper

Sometimes, our thoughts do not match our actions.

Sometimes, our goals do not match our intentions.

Sometimes, who we think ourselves to be does not match the reality of what people experience when interacting with us.

Sometimes, we are incongruent.

In his book, How to Consciously Design Your Ideal Future, Benjamin P. Hardy writes, "when there's a gap between who you are and who you intend to be, you are incongruent and unhappy."

Where do you stand?
