Is It All About Me?

A few days ago I read an article (can't recall the website), that pretty much said, those indulging in personal growth and development, are self centered (my words).

The idea being, that, we have to be careful committing time, money, and effort in self development because it's all about "me, me, me, me".

At first I was offended by the article. Because I feel, if I can get 10X better in key categories of my life, those around me will benefit too.

I've mulled the idea over and now feel there is a modicum of truth to this idea.

Those of us on the self development, personal growth and development path must diligently and purposefully get out of our heads.

Because ultimately, this journey is about our impact on making the world a better place.
