One of my favorite places to visit on the web is, Marie Forleo's website and YouTube Channel, MarieTV. She interviewed Simon Sinek recently (I look forward to, one day, meeting both of these wonderful human beings that have added so much to my journey).
Simon makes a haunting statement in this interview. "If you're a bad leader...over the course of time you're killing the people that work for you."
Leadership is inherently a part of personal development. By virtue of developing ourselves, we become leaders (like it or not). Based on my experience, the reason is because we humans often need to see someone else among us (in our circle) "going for it". Their striving (if we are open), infects us.
Enjoy the interview.
Are you killing people?
