When I was younger, I ate whatever I wanted, without consequence. I'm forty-something years old now. Every day I see and better understand the importance of maintaining a healthy body. Without health all efforts toward personal growth and development can derail quickly.
Awakening in the morning with a foggy head because of the food coma (as a result of too much chocolate cake the night before) severely hinders getting into the right head-space to meditate or practice your awareness and mindfulness routine.
Let's keep our bodies healthy.
In February this year my Beloved and I experimented with The Clean Program, designed by Dr. Alejandro Junger. It was not easy. But we both agreed, we felt better after the first two days of feeling crappy.
We're working toward making that program (or something like it) a part of our life cadence.
