My mom will tell you, I wasn't the easiest kid to raise. Thank goodness for her patience, and enduring love to see me through many of life's challenges.

I don't take it for granted, age lends clarity to our past when we are open. I know mothers that have not been there for their kids, succumb to their vices. While their children were raised by others.
